My family is my life.  I met my wife Jennifer when I moved to New Brunswick back in 1998.  We are high school sweet hearts, as rare as that is today.. I was in grade 9, and she was in grade 10 when we started dating, 7 years later I convinced her to marry me!  We have 2 little boys, Seth (3) and Micah (1), who have completely changed my life.  They have taught me so much about what love is, and it has helped me to understand a little more about the love that God has for me.

I am a musician and have been since I was 2.  I play many instruments, though the guitar is my favourite.  I’m a tech junkie and social networking guru (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube to name a few).  I’m also a photographer and I run a small business shooting weddings and portraits, though just getting out and shooting for the sake of shooting is my true passion in photography, the weddings and portraits just fuel the passion!

I’m currently living in Murray River, PEI, a place I never thought I would live.  God does really strange things sometimes!  About 6 years ago I discovered that I have 7 herniated and 2 compressed disks in my back, completely unexplained, as I’ve never had an accident or trauma to my back, and after trying to get the Ontario health system to help me while I was working in Ontario as a Worship Pastor and Campus Life Director with Youth Unlimited, our family felt that God was telling us to go home, and try something else.  So now we are living with my parents, and getting help from the best neurosurgeon in the world, who has implanted a device called a spinal stimulator in my abdomen, which has made a big difference in my life.

We truly have no idea where God is taking us. When Jen and I got married, we knew that our lives were not going to be the typical “find a job, buy a house, a stay in the same town for the rest of your lives” and God has shown that to be accurate.  We are just doing our best to be obedient to Him.
