Sunday Setlist #2

Today’s service was the first time we’ve lead worship in a while, nearly 2 months. Things have been busy, between traveling to New Orleans, or speaking at other churches.

It was a great service, you could really feel God moving through the whole service!

I’ve actually been in a time of prayer lately, trying to make some big decisions one of the decisions that I’ve come to, is that I need to step back from leading worship at church for a bit. I just haven’t really been in the right place lately when it comes to worship, some of it is my stuff, some others, but it has all brought me to a place where I need to step down and leave it to the rest of the team for a bit. I haven’t shared this with the rest of the team yet, but, I will be soon, and I ‘m sure it will be understood.

With all that, here is our setlist from today!

Sunday Set-List #1

This is a new little endouver I’m taking on as part of a worship community I’m a part of.  Each week that I lead worship, I will be posting our Sunday Set-List.

First I will start by saying, there was something up with my guitar today, and I couldn’t figure out what it was… I’m sure no one else noticed it, but I was terribly distracted by it.

Today’s service had a something a little new in it, the addition of video.  After the morning announcements, we played the “That’s My King” video.  While the video was playing, we were also playing behind it, and as the video ended, we seguayed into “Here is Our King” by David Crowder.  This was a new song for the church, but it seemed to be well received.  It’s not really a congregational song, so the people mostly just sang along to the chorus, because it was easy to catch on to.
