Well I’m taking some time off from leading worship at church for the next month or so, between vacation time/preaching/just needing time away from it, things are just to hectic to be scheduling in leading worship at the church, we will still be playing at a few venues (3 for June) but, I’ll be stepping away from leading at church for a bit.

I was thinking to myself recently “in this time of being away from leading, I should be studying more about what it is to be a worship leader/what worship is, and all the jazz that goes along with it…

Thus I pulled out a book I’ve had for nearly 3 years now.. “Worship Team Handbook”. I picked it up at Urbana in 2006.. it was written by different members of the Urbana worship team. I had started to read it when I got back from Urbana, but, quickly fell out of interest (read: got lazy) and stopped reading. So I’ve decided that during this time of being away from leading at church, I’m going to hone my leading skills, and develop some new ideas for worship.
